Since the first Night Gestalt-album I have been pressing the B-sides from the singles on unique vinyl records and then burying them in the ground, in different parts of the world.

These songs can’t be listened to anywhere else and will never be released (they are even deleted from my hard drive).  I love how a future civilization—even after all our knowledge is lost—could find these and play them, just like aliens would be able to play the golden records sent out with Voyager. And if a future civilization actually did find these records, they would hear music that no one has ever listened to before.

To this date, there are thirteen records buried on four different continents. Some of them have been found, and some will rest in the ground for a very long time (with new constructions as shelter, in one case for example a motorway).

I hope this music rests safe in the ground, until it’s needed the most.
